Position: Logistics Officer – Last Mile Operations (B2C)

Location: Lagos (Operations Cover Nationwide Deliveries)

About the Role

Citywide Logistics Ltd is seeking a highly competent and experienced Logistics Officer (Last Mile Operations – B2C) to oversee and optimize nationwide doorstep delivery operations. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of last-mile delivery systems in Nigeria and be capable of coordinating timely, accurate, and efficient deliveries of packages to customers across all states.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage daily nationwide last-mile delivery operations.

Supervise and support dispatch riders/drivers/field agents to ensure timely deliveries across various regions.

Track, monitor, and report delivery performance metrics Nationwide.

Resolve delivery exceptions, customer complaints, and operational challenges nationwide.

Maintain operational compliance with company standards and client SLAs.

Collaborate with Customer Service, Warehouse, and Regional Delivery Partners for seamless operations.

Develop and implement strategies to improve nationwide delivery speed and efficiency.

Ensure proper documentation, route optimization, and rider/agent scheduling.

Coordinate with external logistics partners where necessary to support nationwide coverage.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years experience in logistics or last-mile delivery operations in Nigeria.

Strong understanding of B2C delivery processes across multiple states.

Proven ability to manage delivery personnel (riders/drivers/agents).

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Proficiency with delivery, tracking, or fleet management tools is an added advantage.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of major interstate routes, logistics hubs, and regional delivery challenges in Nigeria.

Experience working in a fast-paced logistics, courier, or e-commerce environment.

Ability to multitask and make quick operational decisions.
