The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate product requirements into scalable, performant mobile experiences.This role requires strong ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to ship production-ready features.Key ResponsibilitiesMobile Application DevelopmentDevelop and maintain mobile applications using React Native.Build reusable components and libraries for future use.Ensure smooth performance, responsiveness, and stability across devices.Product CollaborationWork closely with UI/UX designers to implement pixel-perfect designs.Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and services.Participate in sprint planning, standups, and product reviews.Code Quality & PerformanceWrite clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.Optimize application performance, memory usage, and load times.Identify and fix bugs, crashes, and performance bottlenecks.Testing & DeploymentImplement unit and integration tests where necessary.Prepare apps for App Store and Play Store releases.Monitor app performance post-release and apply improvements.Maintenance & ScalingMaintain existing mobile applications and add new features.Handle version upgrades, dependency updates, and refactoring.Ensure application security and data protection best practices.Required Skills & QualificationsStrong experience with React Native.Solid knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) / TypeScript.Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations.Understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices.Familiarity with state management (Redux, Zustand, MobX, or Context API).Experience with Git and collaborative workflows.Ability to debug and optimize mobile applications.Nice-to-Have SkillsExperience with Expo and bare React Native workflows.Knowledge of native Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift/Objective-C).Experience with CI/CD for mobile apps.Familiarity with push notifications, deep linking, and analytics.Previous experience launching apps to production.Success Metrics (What Good Looks Like)Features delivered on time and aligned with product requirements.Stable app with low crash rates and good performance metrics.Clean, maintainable code with minimal technical debt and comprehensive documentation.Positive feedback from users and internal stakeholders.Smooth collaboration with cross-functional teams.Tools & TechnologiesReact Native, TypeScriptREST APIsGit (GitHub/GitLab)Firebase / Appwrite / AWS (as applicable)Figma (for design collaboration)Who This Role Is Best ForDevelopers who enjoy building real-world mobile products.Engineers comfortable taking ownership of features end-to-end.Candidates who can work independently while collaborating with a team.
