We are seeking a highly organised and people-centric Talent Sourcing & Recruitment Officer to support our growing Agency Program at Pearmonie. This role focuses on sourcing, interviewing, and shortlisting qualified candidates for our Sales Agent and Referral Agent networks.
The officer will also manage training coordination, onboarding follow-through, and act as the voice of HR/Department Leads in ensuring smooth integration and performance readiness of newly engaged agents.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Sourcing & Screening:
- Source and attract qualified candidates through job boards, referrals, field sourcing, and community networks.
- Review applications, shortlist candidates, and conduct structured interviews to assess skills, communication, and role suitability.
- Maintain an updated candidate database and recruitment pipeline.
Assessment & Selection
- Evaluate candidates based on predefined criteria for Lagos-based Sales Agents and nationwide Referral Agents.
- Prepare candidate evaluation reports and present recommended candidates to hiring stakeholders.
- Ensure fairness, transparency, and consistency throughout the selection process.
Training Coordination & Onboarding Management
- Ensure selected candidates are promptly enrolled in LMS (Learning Management System) training programs.
- Track training progress, follow up on completion, and provide guidance to candidates throughout the learning process.
- Act as the liaison and "voice of Department Lead" by supporting candidates pre-onboarding and post-onboarding.
- Monitor new agents' first 30–60 days to ensure proper integration, performance readiness, and engagement.
Program Oversight & Talent Support
- Maintain communication channels with all newly engaged agents, addressing questions, clarifying expectations, and providing support.
- Coordinate with Sales Leads, HR, and Operations teams on deployment schedules, onboarding timelines, and performance updates.
- Track post-onboarding feedback, identify talent gaps, and recommend improvements to the recruitment and training process.
Reporting & Documentation
- Provide weekly recruitment and training update reports.
- Document candidate interview outcomes, LMS completion rates, onboarding status, and pipeline health.
- Maintain accurate records of all recruitment and onboarding activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum B.Sc required;
- 1–2 years of experience in recruitment, talent sourcing, HR support, field recruitment, or agency workforce management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple candidates simultaneously with excellent organisation skills.
- Comfortable using digital tools (LMS platforms, spreadsheets, CRMs, email).
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and process-driven
Performance Expectations
- Maintain a steady pipeline of qualified candidates weekly.
- Ensure at least 70–80% of shortlisted candidates meet the sales team's expectations.
- Conduct timely follow-ups and move candidates through the pipeline efficiently.
- Deliver weekly and monthly recruitment performance reports
