Role Description

This is a contract position for a Cyber Security Consultant. As a consultant, you will be responsible for performing network and application security assessments, conducting vulnerability assessments, improving cybersecurity protocols, and implementing effective risk management strategies. The role includes responsibilities related to addressing cybersecurity challenges, ensuring compliance, and delivering security solutions to clients. This is a hybrid role, based in Abuja, with the flexibility to work remotely for certain tasks.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Cybersecurity practices and principles
  • Experience in incident response management
  • Strong knowledge in Application Security and Network Security methodologies
  • Experience with Information Security and data protection measures
  • Expertise in conducting Vulnerability Assessments and identifying potential risks
  • Excellent writing, communication and public speaking and presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH etc are a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
  • Portfolio of previous projects is highly desirable.
