Job Title: Sales Executive

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Job Type: Full-Time (On-site with close proximity to Ikeja, Lagos)

Reports To: Country Manager / Sales Manager

Job Summary:

Our Client is seeking a highly motivated Senior Sales Executive to join their dynamic team . The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving exhibitor and sponsor sales for international trade fairs and exhibitions across Nigeria. This role requires strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills to deliver results in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:


• Identify and approach potential exhibitors, sponsors, and partners for upcoming trade fairs and exhibitions.


• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.


• Present and promote exhibition opportunities to decision-makers across different industries.


• Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.


• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and competitor activities.


• Assist in planning and executing sales campaigns, including outreach, presentations, and proposals.


• Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to ensure client satisfaction pre- and post-event.


• Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.


• Represent the company at networking events, industry meetings, and promotional activities.

Requirements:


• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.


• 4–6 years' proven sales experience (preferably in exhibitions, B2B sales, or event marketing).


• Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.


• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and online communication platforms.


• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.


• Self-driven, results-oriented, and a team player.


• Lagos-based, with flexibility to travel for exhibitions and client meetings.

Preferred Experience (Bonus):


• Experience in trade fairs, Expos, exhibitions, or B2B event sales.


• Existing network of corporate clients, associations, or government contacts.


• Familiarity with sponsorship sales and corporate partnerships.
