Location: Meiran, Lagos – Must live in Meiran or very close surroundings

About the School

Mount Joys Schools, Meiran, is a loving, play-based early childhood center that has been serving families in Meiran, Abule-Egba, and nearby communities for over 12 years. We believe every child deserves a joyful and solid foundation. Due to growing enrollment, we are urgently looking for an experienced, warm, and dedicated nursery teacher to join our family.

What You'll Do Every Day

  • Plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities in literacy, numeracy, creative arts, music & movement, and social skills.

  • Create a safe, colorful, and stimulating classroom environment.

  • Observe and document each child's development and share progress with parents.

  • Teach basic hygiene, manners, sharing, and emotional regulation through play.

  • Organize indoor/outdoor play, story time, circle time, and special events.

  • Work closely with assistants and parents to support every child's unique needs.

We Are Looking For Someone Who

  • Has at least 4–7 years proven experience teaching in a nursery or early years setting (we need someone who already knows how to handle toddlers confidently).

  • Holds a minimum of NCE, Montessori Diploma, Early Childhood Education certificate, or B.Ed in Early Childhood/Primary Education.

  • Currently lives in Meiran, Abule-Egba, ile ewe, Command or maximum 15–20 minutes away (this is compulsory).

  • Is patient, cheerful, creative, and truly loves young children.

  • Can sing, dance, tell stories, and get down on the floor to play

  • Understands Montessori, EYFS, or play-way methods (added advantage).
