Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Operating Officer (COO), based in Abuja. The COO will play a vital role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficient business processes, and implementing strategic initiatives to drive organizational growth. Responsibilities include managing budgets, financial planning, operational systems, and team performance to achieve business objectives. The COO will collaborate closely with the executive team to ensure alignment with the company's vision and goals.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Business Planning and Operations Management to guide organizational strategy and oversee daily operations.
  • Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating performance metrics, operational workflows, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Expertise in Finance and Budgeting to manage company finances, allocate resources, and ensure financial sustainability.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities to oversee teams effectively and address operational challenges.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Proven experience in a senior executive role, preferably within media, real estate, or a related industry, is an advantage.
  • Ten years of experience in media, banking and real estate and must be Abuja based.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred.
