Job Title: Marketing Officer (Building & Construction Products)

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Salary: ₦300,000 Gross + Sales Commission

Job Type: Full-Time (Onsite)

Reports To: Managing Director & General Manager

Overview:

The Marketing Officer will be responsible for promoting and selling building and construction-related products, including security doors, wood joinery, and other architectural fittings. The role involves developing marketing and sales strategies, conducting field visits to construction sites, building relationships with contractors and project managers, and driving product sales through effective market engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market and sell the company's range of building and construction products to contractors, builders, developers, and architects.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction industry.
  • Conduct field visits to project sites to introduce and promote products.
  • Develop marketing strategies to increase visibility and drive product demand.
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and industry developments.
  • Prepare and present marketing proposals to potential clients.
  • Support the sales team with promotional campaigns, trade events, and exhibitions.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business.
  • Report weekly on marketing activities, customer feedback, and sales performance.

Requirements:

  • B.Sc./HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or any related field.
  • 3–5 years of proven experience in marketing or sales within the building materials or construction industry.
  • Strong network within the construction sector (contractors, builders, or developers preferred).
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing tools.
