Job Description:

As a Financial Analyst at Madison & Park, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, providing insights, and supporting key financial decisions. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure the financial health of the organization and contribute to its overall success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Analysis:

  2. Analyze financial data, including revenue, expenses, and budget variances.

  3. Create and maintain financial models to forecast future financial performance.

  4. Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement in financial metrics.

  5. Budgeting and Forecasting:

  6. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.

  7. Monitor budget vs. actual performance and provide regular reports to department heads.

  8. Work with department managers to understand and manage their budgets effectively.

  9. Financial Reporting:

  10. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.

  11. Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and assess financial performance.

  12. Communicate financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

  13. Cost Analysis:

  14. Analyze project costs and profitability to optimize resource allocation.

  15. Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies for cost control.

  16. Client Billing and Revenue Recognition:

  17. Ensure accurate and timely client billing based on project milestones and deliverables.

  18. Assist in revenue recognition processes in compliance with accounting standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting,
  • At least 2 year of experience in accounting role
  • Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in a marketing advertising or procurement setting.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial analysis tools and software.
  • Excellent understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to present complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and strong organizational skills.
