Job Position: Project Manager

Job Location: Abuja

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation to closure.

Team Leadership:

  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams including developers, designers, QA, and business stakeholders.
  • Facilitate effective team collaboration, resolve conflicts, and maintain high motivation.

Stakeholder & Client Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide project updates, status reports, presentations, and documentation.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and manage expectations throughout the project.

Risk & Issue Management:

  • Identify potential risks and develop contingency strategies.
  • Resolve project issues promptly, ensuring minimal impact on overall delivery.

Quality & Compliance:

  • Ensure all project deliverables meet company standards and client requirements.
  • Conduct project reviews, post-implementation assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • 3 - 7 years of experience in project management within a technology environment.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile, or Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Asana, Trello, MS Project, etc.).
  • PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification is an advantage.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Leadership and management strength.
