SHE Safety and Health Initiative (SHE-SHI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women and girls across Nigeria and beyond through safety, health education, and advocacy. The organization focuses on creating safer communities by implementing programs such as the School Safety Project, SHE Academy, Advocacy Campaigns, and SHE Summit. These initiatives address key issues like gender-based violence, personal safety, health leadership, and educational empowerment. Through strategic partnerships and community outreach, SHE-SHI provides women and girls with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to lead safer and healthier lives.

Role Description

This is a volunteer and remote Blogger role. The Blogger will be responsible for creating engaging and informative blog content aligned with the organization's mission. Tasks include conducting in-depth research, writing blog posts, crafting web content, and promoting articles to engage the community. Additionally, the Blogger will work closely with the team to develop content that supports SHE-SHI's advocacy and educational efforts.

Qualifications

  • Strong Writing and Web Content Writing skills, with the ability to produce engaging and informative articles
  • Proficiency in Research and the ability to source credible information on safety, health, and empowerment topics
  • Experience as a Blogger and familiarity with online content creation tools
  • Basic Marketing skills to help promote blog content and engage target audiences
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Passion for advocating for women's safety, health, and empowerment
  • Familiarity with nonprofit initiatives or experience in the same field is a plus
