Role Description

Homik Engineering Limited is seeking a 
Lead Process Engineer
 to be deployed to 
an IOC client
 under a labour supply contract for
6 Months
with the possibility of Extension. The role will provide senior-level process engineering support for surface production systems, focusing on 
start-up, testing, optimization, and debottlenecking
 of oil and gas processing facilities.

ROLE DEFINITION

Main responsibilities

  • Provide process engineering support for surface production systems start up & testing
  • Monitor, Evaluate, Optimize and Debottleneck Surface Production Systems

Key activities

  • Support the design of Surface Production systems to meet the required throughput Utilizing Simulation Tools
  • Check, Review and Approve Process Documentation in assigned Project
  • Interface with process counterpart in Contractor's engineering team during specified Engineering Phase within the Process Discipline
  • Ensure that Process Design is carried out in accordance with OERNLdesign practices and in line with recommended International Standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Engineering degree in chemical or process engineering

Professional Qualifications

  • NSE membership / COREN certified
  • International Professional Registration IChemE membership as advantage

EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES

Required Experience

  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry in both onshore and/or offshore facilities
  • At least 3 years of experience and proven track record in hydrocarbons processing studies, process simulation and project development
  • At least 2 years relevant and related experience in design and operation of high H2S or CO2 content facilities with stringent HSE requirements

Required knowledge, technical or professional skills

Knowledge:

Should have Knowledge of;

  • Simulating Multiphase Flow for Dynamic Modes
  • Parameters for evaluating and Selection of Design Concepts

Skill:

Shall have Skills of;

  • Simulating Multiphase/Hydraulic Flow for Steady State Modes.
  • Simulating Transient Processes.
  • Developing Conceptual and Detailed Design,
  • Developing Process & Utility Engineering Flow schemes,
  • Selecting and Specifying Process Equipment.
  • Defining Process System Operating Envelope.
  • Specifying Process Control and Measurement Philosophies and requirements
  • Specifying Process Safeguarding Philosophies and requirements.
  • Provision of Process Eng Support for Plant Start-up and Testing.
  • Provision of Process, Plant and Pipeline system Performance Evaluation & Monitoring
