We are seeking a diligent, proactive, and highly organized Facility Officer to oversee the maintenance, safety, and efficient operation of the hospital's physical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities


• Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and functionality of the hospital facilities, equipment, and utilities.


• Conduct routine inspections to identify repair needs, safety risks, and compliance gaps.


• Coordinate and supervise contractors, technicians, and service providers for repairs, maintenance, and installations.


• Ensure proper documentation and reporting of maintenance activities, equipment servicing, and asset records.


• Monitor and manage facility-related expenses, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising standards.


• Enforce safety protocols and ensure all facilities comply with health, safety, and regulatory standards.


• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to promptly resolve facility-related issues.


• Monitor power, water, and other utilities to ensure uninterrupted hospital operations.


• Support in emergency preparedness planning and response related to facility management.


• Manage inventory of facility tools, maintenance supplies, and technical equipment.

Requirements


• OND/HND/BSc in Facility Management, Engineering, Estate Management, or a related field.


• Proven experience in facility management, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality environment.


• Strong technical understanding of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.


• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to supervise maintenance personnel and external vendors.


• Strong communication and reporting abilities.


• Knowledge of health and safety standards.


• Proficiency in basic computer and documentation tools.
