New Co (a new company or startup waiting to unveil) is a healthcare startup that is revolutionising the way healthcare is delivered. Our mission is to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs by leveraging technology, data, and innovative business models. We are looking for an experienced Operational Managing Director to join our team and help us achieve our goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring that business processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with the company's strategic goals.
  • Work closely with other executives and managers to develop and implement strategic plans for the company, and be involved in decision-making related to resource allocation, budgeting, and staff management.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures, ensuring that the company's operations are in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with other companies, suppliers, and vendors to promote collaboration and improve the overall efficiency of the company's operations.
  • Develop and implement data-driven approaches to optimize business processes, reduce costs, and improve patient outcomes.
  • Manage and mentor a team of operations professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the company, and use data analytics to inform decision-making and improve business processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, operations management, healthcare administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred (Operations Management or MBA).
  • 10+ years of experience in operations management, or operational efficiency preferably in any of the Big four accounting firms
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing teams of operations professionals.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
