Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Sales Manager based in Onitsha. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving consumer goods sales within the assigned territory, achieving sales targets, and growing market share. Key tasks include managing and mentoring the sales team, establishing strong relationships with distributors and implementing effective sales strategies. The role also involves monitoring competitors, analyzing market trends, and ensuring timely reporting and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

  • Sales and Leadership: Proven experience in sales team management, strategic planning, and achieving sales targets.
  • Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of local market dynamics and the ability to develop territory-specific sales strategies.
  • Communication and Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Analytical and Organizational Skills: Proficiency in market trend analysis, reporting, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • oral /personal/health care Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in healthcare sector is an advantage.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields is preferred.
  • Additional Requirements: Proficiency in MS Office, willingness to travel within the assigned region, and fluency in written and spoken English.
