Job Summary
We are looking for a highly driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to work with our growing team. The SDR is responsible for delivering qualified leads/opportunities for the sales team and plays a critical role in growing our business team.
Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player who is persistent about meeting his/her KPIs, organized and accountable for the team's success, and has hands-on experience in SDR work. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for actively seeking new business opportunities, engaging and building relationships with potential customers, thus expanding our customer base.
To be a successful sales development representative, you should have excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. You should be very creative in crafting compelling sales and outbound lead generation emails and messaging. You should also demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines and have strong analytical and mathematical skills.
Responsibilities
a. Developing sales and lead generation strategies to solicit or attract new potential customers through inbound and outbound tactics.
b. Initiating contact with potential customers through strategic account-based marketing (AMB), cold-calling and emailing and responding to inquiries generated from advertisements and company channels (website, phone etc.)
c. Building relationships with prospects to identify their potential needs and qualify their interests and viability to drive sales.
d. Qualify leads based on predefined criteria, such as budget, authority, need, and timeline (BANT).
e. Make a meaningful impact on the company's bottom line by leveraging your expertise in lead generation to identify new opportunities, optimize existing campaigns, and drive revenue growth for the business.
f. Collaborate with other departments, such as product and customer service, to create cohesive lead/demand generation efforts
g. Moving qualified leads through the marketing funnel, connecting them to an account manager, and arranging in-person meetings, emails, or phone calls.
h. Following up with potential customers who expressed interest but did not make eventual purchase.
i. Engage current users to expand awareness, educate, ask for referrals, identify new opportunities and develop account intelligence.
j. Continually work on optimizing pipeline qualified lead
k. Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to maximize pipeline creation and provide feedback on MQLs and campaigns
i. Collaborating with sales and account executives to ensure the company's goals and revenue targets are met.
Requirements
a. Proven work experience as a Sales Development Representative, Lead generation executive or similar role in a B2B technology business.
b years of sales development operations (preferably with B2B sales)
c. Strong understanding of company positioning and business development strategies for enterprise SaaS companies.
d. Should be a strategic thinker, creative guru who can lead the initiatives and build lead generation strategies for the company.
e. Ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced target focused environment.
f. Previous experience in handling lead generation processes for enterprise software application vendors
g. Proficiency with CRM and other sales operation tools.
h. Smart, excellence-driven, passionate, enthusiastic, and goal oriented.
i. Good initiative, judgment, time management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
