Role Description

This is an on-site/hybrid, full-time role for a Human Resources Manager located in Lagos. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with policies and labor laws. The role entails developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the organization's goals, while fostering a positive workplace culture. The manager will also handle administrative HR tasks and ensure the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent. You will work directly with the management to create a structure and culture that drives performance and retention.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Recruitment, Employee Relations, and Talent Acquisition
  • Skills in Leadership Development, Training, and Performance Management
  • Proficiency in HR Policy Development, HR Strategy, and Compliance Monitoring
  • Strong Administrative, Communication, and Organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of labor laws and the ability to ensure compliance
  • Proficiency with HR tools and software; familiarity with payroll systems is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Certification in HR, if any, is preferred
  • 2–7 years' experience in HR, ideally in a startup or logistics/operations environment.
