The client is seeking to hire an experienced Application and Database Manager to join its growing team. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, identifying opportunities for process improvements, and developing solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness. S/he will be responsible for analyzing business requirements and processes, implementing enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions, and managing databases to meet those needs.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will oversee the development, testing, improvement, and maintenance of new and existing databases, ensuring users can retrieve data effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Process Analysis:

• Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement. Develop and document business requirements and process maps.
• Identifies opportunities for process improvement and contributes to departmental initiatives.

ERP System Analysis:

• Analyze ERP system capabilities and configure the system to meet business requirements.

Solution Design:

• Design and propose solutions to meet business needs, including process changes, system configurations, and custom development.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with stakeholders, including business leaders and end-users, to understand business needs and requirements, and collaborate with service providers to resolve incidents, implement upgrades, and deploy new solutions.
• Participate in the implementation of Business Application and support initiatives in all subsidiaries.

Requirements Gathering:

• Gather and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and surveys, while conducting research and suggesting new database products, services, and protocols.
• Build database systems of high availability and quality, depending on each end user's specialized role.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

• Develop and execute test plans to ensure the ERP system meets business requirements, while performing regular tests and evaluations to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity.

Training and Support:

• Develop training materials and technical manuals and provide support to end-users to ensure the successful adoption of the ERP system and business application usage.
• Determines, enforces, and documents database policies, Application Operating Manuals, and standards.

Project Management:

• Assist with project planning, coordination, and execution to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Database Administration:

• Carry out database administration on MS SQL Databases and other banking applications.
• Ensure databases are backed up at intervals in a secure location using high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data.
• Resolves database usage issues and malfunctions.
• Monitors database performance, implements changes, and applies new patches and versions when required.

Application Support:

• Ensure the service availability for all business applications.
• Provide 1st and 2nd Level support for users.
• Provide effective support for other Business Applications for optimal uptime.
• Review and manage database incidents of other business applications.
• Provide support during deployments of new applications and upgrades.

Key Requirements:

Qualifications/Educational Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in ERP implementation, business analysis, application support, data management, or related field.

Skills/Competencies:

• Experience with ERP systems, such as Turnquest, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
• Strong understanding of business operations, processes, and systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
• Experience with data analysis tools, such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Experience with business process modeling tools, such as BPMN, Visio
• Experience with ERP systems, such as Turnquest, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Linux OS, or similar.
