Business Analyst — Job Description
A Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and translating organizational needs into actionable solutions. The role bridges the gap between stakeholders, management, and technical teams to ensure business objectives are achieved through data-driven decisions, optimized workflows, and effective project implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders
- Evaluate existing business processes and recommend improvements
- Develop business cases, feasibility studies, and cost–benefit analyses
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
- Work closely with product, engineering, and project management teams
- Create process maps, workflow diagrams, and requirement documentation
- Support system implementation, testing, and change management
- Monitor project performance and report on key business metrics
- Identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities
- Facilitate meetings, presentations, and stakeholder workshops
- Ensure solutions align with business strategy and objectives
- Support organizational digital transformation and process automation initiatives

- Power BI / Tableau (or similar BI tools)
- Jira, Trello, Asana or other project management tools
- BPMN / Visio / Lucidchart for process modeling
- CRM / ERP systems experience is an advantage
Educational & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, Finance, or related field
- Professional certifications are an added advantage:
CBAP / ECBA / CCBA
PMI-PBA
Agile / Scrum certification
- 2–5+ years experience in Business Analysis, Consulting, Product, or Project roles
