Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Junior Accountant role located in Lekki. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. Additional duties include processing accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and adhering to financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including proficiency in reconciling accounts and preparing financial statements
  • Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and other financial tools
  • Familiarity with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting practices
  • Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ICAN or ACCA) are a plus
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role preferred but not mandatory
