Role Description

This is a volunteer, hybrid role for a Community Manager based in Lagos, with flexibility for some remote work. The Community Manager will oversee community engagement, foster meaningful relationships, and ensure active participation across both digital platforms and in-person events. Responsibilities include planning and executing community events, moderating discussions, collaborating with partners, and implementing strategies to grow and nurture the Circle60 community.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and community-building skills
  • Proficiency in digital tools and social media platforms for community management
  • Event planning and coordination expertise
  • Collaboration and relationship management skills, including with diverse stakeholders
  • Passion for working with elder communities and creating impactful experiences
  • Prior experience in a similar role or volunteer-based environment is a plus
  • Flexibility to work both remotely and on-site for events and meetings
