Job Position: Facility Manager

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Overview

  • The Facility Manager is responsible for the effective management, maintenance, and safety of the organization's physical facilities.
  • The role ensures that buildings, equipment, and support services operate efficiently to support business operations and provide a safe, functional, and professional working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of company facilities, including offices, utilities, and equipment
  • Ensure facilities are safe, compliant with regulations, and well-maintained
  • Manage vendors, contractors, and service providers
  • Supervise cleaning, security, repairs, and maintenance activities
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and identify improvement needs
  • Manage facility budgets, supplies, and maintenance schedules
  • Coordinate space planning and office layout arrangements
  • Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are met
  • Prepare reports on facility performance and maintenance activities
  • Support management with facility-related projects and upgrades

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field with 3–4 years of relevant experience in facility or property management
  • Relevant professional certifications are an advantage.

Required Competencies & Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of facility operations and maintenance procedures
  • Experience managing vendors and service contracts
  • Understanding of health, safety, and compliance standards
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • High attention to detail and strong documentation skills

Salary

N250,000 - N300,000 / Month.
