Job Purpose
The Programs and Corporate Communications Manager is responsible for
strategically positioning Sydani's programs, brand, and institutional voice
across internal and external platforms. The role ensures that Sydani's work is communicated with clarity, credibility, and impact—supporting program delivery, donor engagement, business development, and organizational culture.

program storytelling, corporate communications, stakeholder engagement, and brand management
, translating technical work into compelling narratives that advance Sydani's mission and growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Programs Communications and Knowledge Translation
- Develop and implement communications strategies that support Sydani's programs, projects, and technical workstreams.
- Translate complex programmatic, policy, and technical outputs into clear, audience-appropriate content (reports, briefs, presentations, stories, infographics).
- Work with program teams to document outcomes, lessons learned, and impact narratives aligned with donor and stakeholder expectations.
- Support the development of program reports, learning products, case studies, and success stories.
2. Corporate Communications and Brand Management
- Lead Sydani's corporate communications strategy, ensuring consistency of voice, tone, and messaging across all platforms.
- Safeguard and strengthen Sydani's brand identity across internal and external communications, in line with brand guidelines.
- Oversee the development and use of official templates, letterheads, presentations, and corporate collateral.
- Ensure brand compliance across proposals, reports, media materials, and partner communications.
3. Stakeholder Engagement and External Relations
- Support donor, partner, and stakeholder communications, including briefings, announcements, and institutional updates.
- Coordinate external communications for major events, launches, retreats, trainings, and high-level engagements.
- Liaise with media partners, consultants, and creative vendors as required.
- Support leadership visibility and thought leadership positioning through speeches, op-eds, profiles, and strategic content.
4. Internal Communications and Culture
- Design and manage internal communication strategies that promote alignment, transparency, and organizational culture.
- Support leadership messaging, staff updates, change communications, and organizational announcements.
- Work with HR to reinforce culture, values, engagement initiatives, and internal campaigns.
- Support onboarding communications and institutional storytelling for new staff and associates.
5. Business Development and Proposal Support
- Collaborate with the Business Development team to support proposal narratives, capability statements, and institutional sections of bids.
- Ensure proposals and pitch materials reflect Sydani's brand, positioning, and value proposition.
- Support post-award communications, donor visibility plans, and dissemination strategies where required.
6. Digital and Content Management
- Oversee Sydani's digital presence, including website content, newsletters, social media, and online publications.
- Develop content calendars and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of communications outputs.
- Track engagement metrics and use insights to improve reach, relevance, and effectiveness.
7. Planning, Coordination and Reporting
- Develop annual communications plans aligned with organizational and program priorities.
- Manage communications budgets and timelines effectively.
- Produce periodic reports on communications activities, reach, and impact.
- Support crisis communications and reputational risk management when required.
