About the Role

Our company is searching for an experienced
Project Coordinator
to help organize and manage its various projects across the company and its clients

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Coordinator at Upland Consulting in Lagos. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating and managing projects, including project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures
  • Develop project strategies; schedule project activities, coordinate resources, track progress, communicate with stakeholders, assess project risks, and ensure projects adhere to desired frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
  • Ensuring project deliverables are met on time, quality standards, and within budget.
  • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings and providing administrative support as needed.
  • Coordinate project meetings; document project processes as agreed and distribute minutes of meetings to team members.
  • Create a project management calendar, prepare and manage project schedules with Microsoft Project

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Numerical Sciences, or a related field
  • 3-5 Years of proven experience in project coordination and management
  • Experience working in an Oil & Gas or Telecom company is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, project management methodologies, and tools
  • Proficiency in project management software is required.
  • Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE 2, etc.) is an added advantage.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to use own initiative.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
