Inventory Assistant

Precise Lighting Ltd, a Lighting and Furniture Retail Company in Ikate - Lekki, is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Assistant to support the day-to-day management of inventory. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting stock movement processes, and stock counts. A background in accounting or finance is a strong advantage as well as the use of Quickbooks and PHP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing stock in both manual and digital systems.
- Assist with transfers between warehouses or branches, ensuring proper documentation and system updates.
- Conduct routine stock reconciliations between physical stock and ERP records.
- Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of daily, weekly, and periodic stock counts.
- Record findings and help investigate any variances or discrepancies.
- Ensure all inventory-related documentation is organized and up-to-date for audits.
Qualifications:
- OND/HND in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, or related fields.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in inventory, storekeeping, or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in Quickbooks, PHP and Microsoft Excel is a plus.
- Basic understanding of inventory and accounting principles is required.
- Accounting background is a strong advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦120,000.00 per month
