Job Vacancy: Financial Controller

Experience: 5 years

The Financial Controller is responsible for managing the company's accounting operations and providing strategic financial leadership. This role oversees day-to-day financial activities, prepares financial reports and budgets, ensures regulatory compliance, and develops financial policies and procedures. The Financial Controller supports management in strategic decision-making by analyzing financial data and guiding overall financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance reports.

· Provide timely financial insights to senior management and external stakeholder

· Supervise all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities

· Oversee internal and external audits.

· Manage tax filings and ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and applicable laws

· Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and business opportunities.

· Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial risks.

Requirements

  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as ICAN is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to contribute to strategic planning
