The Role

The Growth & Partnerships Associate is responsible for supporting and driving growth initiatives and partnership development across AppleGrove and the ventures we are building.

This role is
outcome-focused

. Performance will be tracked and evaluated based on tangible results, particularly the number and quality of partnerships established for AppleGrove and its ventures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, source, and support the development of strategic partnerships for AppleGrove and its ventures
  • Support outreach to potential partners, clients, and ecosystem stakeholders
  • Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, and partnership execution activities
  • Help convert conversations into active partnerships and collaborations
  • Support go-to-market initiatives, market research, and opportunity mapping
  • Assist with partnership materials, briefs, and presentations
  • Track growth and partnership pipelines, progress, and outcomes
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure growth initiatives are realistic and executable
  • Support the implementation of partnership pilots, collaborations, and joint initiatives
  • Maintain clear documentation and reporting of growth activities and results

Performance & Accountability

Performance in this role will be assessed based on:

  • Number of active and credible partnerships secured
  • Quality and relevance of partners to AppleGrove and its ventures
  • Conversion of partnerships from discussion to execution
  • Consistency of follow-through and delivery against agreed targets

Skills & Requirements

  • Strong interest in growth, partnerships, and business development
  • Clear commercial thinking and outcome orientation
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to execute, follow through, and close loops
  • Organised, structured, and comfortable being tracked on deliverables

Experience

  • 2–3 years experience in growth, business development, strategy, or startup roles
  • Exposure to fast-moving, execution-driven environments
  • Experience working with partners, clients, or external stakeholders is a strong advantage
