The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of theFinance, Operations and Administrative functions of the Hepatitis C / ViiV RIHHWUD Projects at the SFH Headquarters, Abuja. The successful candidate will ensure that SFH financialmanagement particularly the Projects' financial objectives are met and are in line with Generally Accepted Accounting Standard and Principles, not also neglecting compliance with the Donor(s) regulations. Primary duties, responsibilities and accountabilities: Area1:   TransactionsProcessing·       Capture allfinancial transactions at the end of the month.·       Post all Financialdocuments and transactions to SAP before payment.·       Fund all GeneralLedger balances on SAP·       Processing ofvendor payments upon review of invoices and other supporting documentations·       Reviewing andprocessing of staff advance request as well as settlement of advance retirement·       Ensure correct postingson SAP by using the proper cost assignments -GL, IO and CC Area 2: Budget Review and Monitoring·       Coordinate, reviewand monitor projects' budgets.·       Develop proceduresfor monitoring and analyzing of budgets that allows accurate projection ofexpenditures and comparisons of actual and budgeted spending.·       Analysis of budgetagainst the actual expenditure in order to measure variances.·       Prepare varianceanalysis and indicate areas where expenditure deviates from the budget. Area 3: Preparation and Submission ofBank Reconciliation Statements·       Monthlyreconciliation of bank balances with cash book.·       Recognition ofinflows and return payments on SAP.·       Printing, signingand proper filing of bank reconciliation reports.·       Submission of BankReconciliations to Internal Control Area 4: Preparation of Financial Reports·       Prepareand submit donor financial statements and reports as at when due.·       Prepareand submit quarterly Annual Operating Budget.·       Prepareand submit burn rate on a monthly basis.·       Preparemanagement account and other kinds of report as may be required by themanagement. Admin and other job functions that may be assigned by the line manager.RequirementsEducation:·       BSc/ HND Accounting or related field (with cognate working experience). Professional Certification like ACA, ACCA is an added advantageExperience·       A minimum of four (4) years' post -NYSC work experience in the accounting and finance role·       Demonstratedability from previous experience to perform and relate very well withaccounting terms and procedures.Relevant experience working on donor funded projects is an added advantageTechnical Job -Specific Skills: ·       Computer Literacy ·       Good knowledge of applications like SAP and Microsoft Office tools, Microsoft Outlook, etc ·       Good knowledge of International Financial ReportingStandard (IFRS) ·       Good knowledge of Regulatory remittances BehaviouralAttributes   ·       Integrity ·       Good Oral Communication ·       Good Interpersonal relationship   Leadership Skill ·       Ability to work under pressure ·       Result Oriented ·       Creativity/Innovation. ·       Continuous learning Benefits The compensationpackage for this position is very attractive and designed to attract, motivateand retain talented candidates.
