Job Summary: The hotel procurement officer is to manage and coordinate the procurementof all goods and services required by the hotel to ensure timely availability,cost -effectiveness, and compliance with company policies and standards. Thisrole supports hotel operations by sourcing quality materials, negotiatingcontracts, and maintaining supplier relationships to achieve savings andoperational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:· Source and procure direct and indirectmaterials, goods, and services to meet the hotel's operational needs whileadhering to procurement policies and procedures.· Establish and maintain favorable contracts andagreements with approved suppliers, ensuring best value and compliance withmanagement approval.· Coordinate the movement, delivery, and properstorage of goods from suppliers to the hotel, ensuring traceability and qualitystandards.· Monitor supplier performance and maintainpositive supplier relations to support the hotel's operational requirements.· Implement and enforce procurement policies,procedures, and controls to ensure transparency and accountability in allpurchasing activities.· Prepare and present procurement budgets andsavings reports to management for financial planning and review.· Collaborate with Accounts, Operations, and otherdepartments to ensure alignment of procurement activities with businessobjectives.· Maintain accurate records of procurementtransactions, contracts, and supplier evaluations.· Identify cost -saving opportunities and recommendimprovements in procurement processes.· Ensure compliance with relevant corporateregulations, local legislation, and hotel standards.RequirementsQualifications and Experience:· Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply ChainManagement, Business Administration, or a related field.· Minimum of 2 years relevant experience inprocurement, preferably within the hospitality industry.· Knowledge of procurement best practices,contract management, and supplier evaluation.· Strong negotiation, influencing, andcommunication skills.· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularlyExcel, and procurement software/systems.· Ability to analyze data and prepare reports tosupport decision -making.· Understanding of financial evaluations andbudget management.· Knowledge of corporate procurement policies andlocal regulatory requirements.· Attention to detail and accuracy· Strong organizational and time management skills· Ability to work independently and as part of ateam· Problem -solving and analytical thinking· Customer service orientation and interpersonalskills Benefits Salary Range: N100,000 - N150,000 Others: Health and Pension coverLeave allowances
