Civil Engineer - Estimation (Roads and Transportation)

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Job Type: Permanent

Reporting to: Technical Manager

Working Days/Hours: Monday to Friday (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM), Saturday (8:00 AM - 2:00 PM)

Our client is one of Nigeria's leading private construction groups, with a rich history of delivering high-quality construction projects across the nation. With a commitment to excellence, they have established a strong reputation for their diversified services and dedication to innovation. They are now seeking to recruit a Civil Engineer experienced in estimation of roads and transportation at their premises in Lagos, Nigeria

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct detailed estimations and quantity take-offs for roads and transportation projects.

- Prepare cost plans and budget estimates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

- Collaborate with project teams to provide technical expertise in the design, planning, and execution phases.

- Monitor project progress and update cost estimates as needed throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

- Minimum 4 years of experience in estimation and/or technical roles within roads and transportation projects.

- Strong knowledge of estimation processes, including quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and material sourcing.

- Proficiency in relevant software (AutoCAD, MS Excel).

- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks efficiently.
