JOB SUMMARY

Qualifications OND in accounting, Banking and finance or related field.Experience: At least 2 years cognate experience.The Person Must: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to identify and assess risks, and implement controls to mitigate them. Ability to work with various departments to ensure effective internal control. Supervisory skills to lead a team of internal control professionals. Ability to collect, analyze and interpret to identify trends and control issues. Possess interpersonal skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Purpose of the Job Ensure that internal control processes are effectively monitored to minimize losses/wastages.The Job Ensure that local goods/materials purchased by either staff or suppliers of FMN are checked before such items are used and paid for by the company. Check and ensure that invoiced products (Cement/Wheat products) agree with the gate pass and weighbridge dockets and maintain a register for all load-outs. Monitor the carting of scraps and ensure that only authorized scrapped items are taken away at the time of collection. Physical verification of local supplies at stores/offices and treatment of vendors' waybills in line with Internal Control procedures. Witness fuel receipts and daily fuel inventory management, including distribution to various equipment and transfer to Refinery and Power Plant. Witness raw materials receipt, transfer, evacuation, and loading of finished goods and maintain an accurate record Document supply items on the store monitoring register.
