Job Title: Business Development Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our business development efforts, build strong relationships with key customers, and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop key customer relationships to drive business growth and increase market share.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to generate low-cost deposit liabilities and maximize float income margin.
  • Develop and implement strategies to deepen our market presence and expand our customer base.
  • Ensure effective cost management and control to contribute to the bank's profit margin.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our customers' needs and preferences to deliver exceptional service and drive incremental income.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to broaden and grow our balance sheet size and business opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and potential risks to inform business decisions.
  • Deliver timely and high-quality reports to stakeholders, including market size and share analysis.
  • Collaborate with business and strategy leaders to drive business growth and excellence.
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts across the business, distribution, and external sources to stay informed and drive business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement market penetration plans and programs to drive business growth and achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in social sciences or related disciplines.
  • MBA or MSc. in related relevant disciplines and professional qualifications are an added advantage.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in banking operations and marketing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong financial modeling skills, including the ability to build complex financial models.
  • Credit analysis and structured finance skills.
  • Cross-functional team and multi-disciplinary management skills.
  • Issue-based problem-solving skills.
  • Presentation and analytical skills.
  • Planning and organizational skills.
  • Inter-personal and communication skills.
