We are seeking a Regional Segment Leader to drive growth in West African markets, focusing on the oil and gas sector.
Your Mission:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to expand market share, drive sales, and achieve revenue targets within the oil and gas segment in Nigeria and other West Africa countries.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to effectively position Schneider Electric's offerings within the oil and gas, power & grid segment industry.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with key customers and stakeholders, understanding their challenges, and proposing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Collaborate with product management and R&D teams to ensure a deep understanding of Schneider Electric's oil and gas portfolio and effectively communicate the value proposition to customers.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and technical teams to ensure seamless execution of business plans, and to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Develop and implement account plans for top customers, prioritizing systems and services.
- Create a pipeline of projects to be developed with our WA, Cluster, and segment organizations.
- Lead the development of the overall business strategy and propose resource synergies with our Process Automation business.
Qualifications:
- Minimum B.Sc./ B.Eng. degree in any relevant discipline, e.g., Electrical & Electronics, Control Engineering, or Computer Science.
- A minimum of 8 – 10 years of commercial experience preferably in the oil & gas or power sector.
- Market: Experience within the oil & gas sector is mandatory.
- Deep understanding of account management, customers, sales channels & third parties, and broad experience in applying financial strategies with the client.
- Strategic & tactical mindset, proactively creating opportunities through consultative selling.
- Familiarity with the processes and opportunities within the oil & gas segment.
- Existing relationships at C-suite and operational leadership levels are desired.
- Great capability to create relationships at C-suite and operational leadership levels.
- Strong initiative, self-starter and highly organized, you also show great Communication and Interpersonal skills.
- Master Account Management and consultative selling methods for complex solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to embrace the diversity of thought – develop innovative ways to align strategy with the customer.
- Collaborative Team Player - passionate and dynamic leader with the energy and ability to obtain alignment and work effectively across a complex, global matrix organization.
- Solid experience in Industrial Automation / Energy Management solutions plus strong digital skills.
- Business leadership presence and acumen: Excellent listening and communication skills, ability to articulate business trends and link actions to outcomes.
- Accustomed to fast-changing, complex and ambiguous environment.
