Our company is a Micro-credit Institution based in Lagos and we are looking for Marketing/Relationship officers to build and preserve trusting relationships with our customers. The ideal candidates are expected to find ways to outperform our competition and maintain our company’s positive image.

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should be an excellent communicator, able to work with the marketing teams and build rapport with customers. We also expect him/her to be a strategic thinker with an analytical mind and strong problem-solving skills. He/she will ultimately, maintain strong relationships with clients to boost the company’s brand and profits in the long run.

Key Responsibilities:
 Building positive relationships with customers
 Assisting with generating new business
 Build long-term relationships with clients and customers
 Identifying opportunities for greater profits
 Understand customer needs and develop plans to address them
 Identify key staff in client companies to cultivate profitable relationships
 Resolve customer complaints quickly and effectively
 Forward upselling and cross-selling opportunities to the sales team
 Promote high-quality sales, supply, and customer service processes
 Aim to preserve customers and renew contracts
 Approach potential customers to establish relationships
 Become familiar with the competition to stay ahead of them
 Help promote and maintain a positive company image


The required qualities/skills:
 Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships
 A background in customer service or sales is a plus
 Must understand customer relationship management (CRM)
 Strategic thinker and ability to analyze and solve problems quickly
 Ability to work well with others and lead a team
 Attentive to detail and organized
