Job Description (Summary)
As the Head of Franchise (Eastern Region), you will be responsible for strategically driving business growth and expansion through franchise development, partnership cultivation, and revenue optimization. This role requires innovation, leadership, and collaboration to achieve key objectives, including franchise network expansion, maintaining brand protection and standards, partnership development, revenue generation, and fostering continuous improvement across all franchise operations.
Franchise Sales and Investment Management:
Manage both new and existing leads to strategically drive the sales of franchise and distributorship investments.
Provide sound advisory support to prospective investors, guiding their investment decisions with a focus on delivering value.
Serve as the account officer for designated franchise brands, ensuring alignment with business objectives and targeted expectations.
Prepare and present periodic franchise investment update reports to stakeholders, offering actionable insights.
Investor Relationship Management:
Build, sort, and maintain a detailed investor database while providing continuous updates on franchise and distributorship opportunities.
Conduct site inspections and organize tours of franchisors' outlets with prospective investors to foster informed investment decisions.
Manage franchise investment advisory retainership agreements with fee-paying prospects, ensuring a high standard of advisory services.
Broker Recruitment and Development:
Identify, recruit, and onboard brokers (agents) to actively promote franchise sales.
Provide comprehensive training and onboarding to recruited-brokers, setting clear expectations and ensuring delivery of results.
Continuously engage and support brokers to ensure productivity and alignment with organizational goals.
Brand Protection and Standards:
Act as the custodian of detailed and updated investment prospectuses for all franchise and distributorship brands.
Ensure compliance with brand protection standards, maintaining consistency and alignment with the company’s overall strategic objectives.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
Collaborate with internal teams and franchise partners to drive innovation in franchise/distributorship investment promotions and operations.
Work with the digital marketing team and brokers to execute effective franchise investment promotion activities, ensuring successful lead generation.
Event Planning and Execution:
Plan, organize, and execute high-impact investment and networking events, such as Franchise Matchmaking Forums, Business Exhibitions, Investor’s Forums, report launches, and breakfast meetings.
Develop innovative event strategies to promote franchise sales, fundraising, and partnerships.
Serve as a primary representative at these events, fostering relationships and identifying new opportunities.
Strategic Leadership and Collaboration:
Provide strategic work direction and leadership to support consultants, ensuring team productivity and alignment with goals.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services and franchise growth initiatives.
Performance Management and KPIs:
Achieve set performance targets, including franchise/distributorship investment sales, revenue growth, and client satisfaction.
Monitor and evaluate KPIs such as the number of franchise investments closed, revenue size, and overall business development metrics.
Ensure alignment with organizational goals and continuous improvement of team productivity and client engagement.
Performance Metrics:
Achievement of franchise/distributorship investment sales and revenue goals.
Effective recruitment, training, and performance of brokers, contributing to franchise network growth.
Execution of successful investment promotion activities, events, and campaigns with measurable results.
Maintenance of brand protection and adherence to standards across all franchise operations.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in business development.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding business development targets.
A Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree or equivalent postgraduate qualification is a mandatory requirement for this position.
Strong experience in business development and HNI relationship management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to develop and foster positive relationships with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
Strong commercial acumen and financial analysis skills.
Demonstrated high-level analytical & problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze complex sets of data and develop compelling investment pitches.
Possession of an MBA or relevant master’s degree is an advantage.
Strong HNI relationship management skills and experience.
Strong leadership capability and ability to relate with the senior and executive management team.
Ability to provide expert investment advisory with strong franchise sector knowledge.
Strong investment acumen and understanding of financials.
Ability and discipline to maintain professional work ethics consistent with the professional service industry, especially in the areas of data protection, polished behavior, ethical conduct, and structured thinking.
