Job Summary

The Digital Media Strategist will play a key role in developing and executing our social media strategy to enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and foster community. This role involves managing social media platforms, creating content, analyzing performance metrics, and coordinating with other marketing efforts to achieve business objectives.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Media Strategist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing successful social media strategies, as well as experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to align with business goals.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions on social media channels.
  • Foster a positive community atmosphere and manage online reputation.
  • Engage with influencers and brand advocates to expand reach.
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media performance using tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and other relevant metrics.
  • Provide regular performance reports and recommend improvements based on data-driven insights.
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns and promotions.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to align social media campaigns with overall marketing strategies.
  • Manage social media advertising budgets and campaigns (e.g., Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads).
  • Optimize ad performance and ROI through continuous monitoring and adjustments.
  • Work closely with internal teams such as PR, content marketing, and sales to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.
  • Coordinate with external agencies or freelancers as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices.
  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to create visually appealing content with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with social media advertising and budget management.
  • Previous work in a similar industry or market.
  • Certification in social media marketing or related fields.

Salary

We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
