Job Title: Commercial Sales Manager for Modern Trade in Nigeria

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the modern trade sector in Nigeria.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sales growth, build strong relationships with key customers, and identify new business opportunities. He/She will also work closely with cross-functional teams to align sales objectives with overall business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the modern trade sector
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including distributors, wholesalers, and retailers
  • Identify new business opportunities through market research and competitor analysis
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment of sales objectives with overall business goals
  • Analyze sales data to track progress against targets and provide insights to inform future sales strategies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in sales, preferably in the FMCG industry
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues alike
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
