We are seeking a skilled Finance Officer to contribute to the financial management of Pivotage Consulting. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain precise and up-to-date financial records.
  • Document daily financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.
  • Perform regular bank, ledger, and petty cash reconciliations.
  • Analyze and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
  • Support accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and follow-up on payments.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Provide data and reports as required by the Head of Finance.
  • Monitor department budgets and track expenditures against allocated funds.
  • Assist in developing budget forecasts and financial planning activities.
  • Ensure adherence to internal financial policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to maintain smooth financial operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Progress towards a professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA) is highly valued.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
