We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Expert to join our esteemed client in Abuja. This exciting opportunity is part of the Hospitality Recruitment Placement Service (HRPS) initiative, focused on providing top-notch culinary services.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our discerning clients. To excel in this role, you should possess excellent cooking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cooking and Meal Preparation: Prepare mouth-watering meals that meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

• Kitchen Operations Management: Oversee the smooth operation of the kitchen, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

• Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and surrounding areas.

• Food Safety and Storage: Ensure that all food is stored and handled safely, adhering to strict guidelines and protocols.

• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain optimal stock levels.

• Maintenance of Kitchen Equipment: Regularly inspect and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring that it remains in good working condition.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a culinary degree would be an added advantage.

• 2 years of proven experience as a cook in a similar establishment.

• Excellent knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods, including grilling, baking, boiling, and frying.

• Ability to follow strict sanitation procedures and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.

• Excellent physical condition and stamina, with the ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
