Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our deposit mobilization efforts in Abuja. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of building relationships with institutional and retail clients, securing new deposit mandates, and driving deposit growth.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that requires 5-7 years of relevant experience in deposit mobilization, preferably in digital banking or financial services. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Championing the deposit mobilization drive, targeting high-net-worth individuals, institutional clients, and retail markets
- Developing and implementing strategies to achieve deposit growth targets
- Identifying and pursuing opportunities for low-to-medium-cost deposits to fund the company's assets
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Building and managing strong relationships with institutional and retail clients to secure new deposit mandates
- Monitoring client satisfaction to ensure superior service delivery and retention
- Executing sales activities, including client presentations, campaigns, and roadshows, to drive deposit growth
- Representing the company at networking events and industry forums to expand market presence
- Engaging with decision-makers within target organizations to establish strategic partnerships and secure deposit mandates
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Experience Level: 5–7 years of relevant experience in deposit mobilization, preferably in digital banking or financial services
- Education: First degree (minimum Second-Class Lower) from a reputable institution
- Professional Qualifications: Possession of certifications such as ICAN, ACCA, CIS, CFA, or an MBA will be an added advantage
- Demonstrated success in achieving deposit mobilization targets and building strong client relationships
We offer a competitive salary range of N8,500,000 - N12,000,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
