Food Runner

We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Food Runner to join our team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless interactions between the kitchen and wait staff.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Order Management: Assist customers with their orders by explaining specials, meals, and drinks, and making recommendations.
  • Delivery and Service: Deliver food orders to customers in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Communication and Coordination: Accurately communicate food orders to chefs, taking into account any allergies or special requests.
  • Teamwork and Quality: Collaborate with the wait staff to set up tables, ensuring a high level of quality and presentation.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain strict adherence to food health and safety principles at all times.
  • Customer Engagement: Regularly check on customers to address any impromptu requests or concerns.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Remove dirty dishes from tables in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Feedback and Communication: Communicate customer feedback to management in a constructive and respectful manner.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of SSCE qualification is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • The ability to remain professional in high-pressure work environments is crucial.
  • Superb multitasking skills and flexibility are necessary to meet the demands of this role.
  • Availability to work varying shifts, including weekends, days, and nights is required.
