Key Responsibilities

The Sales Officer will be responsible for:
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Negotiating contracts for purchases and managing supplier/customer relationships.
  • Collaborating with the Inventory Team to ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Developing and executing sales strategies and marketing initiatives to attract new customers.
  • Participating in planning and executing annual exhibitions and conferences to enhance brand awareness.
  • Supporting team members in pitching for and closing viable projects.
  • Compiling weekly team reports and presenting Monthly Performance Reports (MPR).
  • Fostering a high-performance culture within the team.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. You should possess excellent client management and negotiation skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with ERPs and CRM systems is an added advantage. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
