Agricultural Commodities Expert Leader

We're looking for an experienced commodities expert to lead our agricultural commodities business. If you have a deep understanding of the global market and excellent leadership skills, we'd like to hear from you. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing our commodities trading strategy.
  • Establishing relationships with farmers and suppliers.
  • Source high-quality commodities that meet customer requirements.
  • Negotiating prices with suppliers.
  • Managing logistics, including transportation and storage.
  • Conducting market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with customers.
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies.
  • Monitoring market competitiveness.
  • Managing the supply chain.
  • Identifying and managing risks.
  • Managing costs, including procurement and logistics.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in commodities trading, preferably in agricultural commodities.
  • A proven track record of driving business growth and profitability in a commodities trading environment.
  • A deep understanding of the global agricultural commodities market, including market trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of commodities professionals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex market data and make informed business decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong risk management skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate market risks.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, economics, or agriculture.
