Job Brief

We are looking for a skilled Cashier to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for receiving payments and issuing receipts, gift-wrapping packages, and keeping track of all cash and credit transactions.

Key Responsibilities

This role involves:
  • Managing transactions with customers using cash registers.
  • Collecting payments whether in cash or credit.
  • Issuing receipts, refunds, change or tickets.
  • Cross-selling products and introducing new ones.
  • Resolving customer complaints, guiding them, and providing relevant information.
  • Greeting customers when entering or leaving the store.
  • Maintaining clean and tidy checkout areas.
  • Tracking transactions on balance sheets and reporting any discrepancies.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
  • O.N.D in Accounting or any related field.
  • 2yrs working experience as a Retail Cashier or in a similar role in sales.
  • Basic PC knowledge Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS.
  • Good math skills.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Customer satisfaction-oriented.


Work Environment

This role requires working night shifts. You must be able to work independently and manage your time effectively. Additionally, you should reside within Ikoyi, Lekki, Obalende, Victoria Island, Ajah.
