Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Book Keeper to join our team at Aviot Industries Nigeria. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record and categorize financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
  • Maintain the general ledger and update financial records daily.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping.
  • Manage petty cash and ensure all transactions are documented and reconciled.
  • Prepare basic financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow summaries.
  • Assist in payroll preparation and related tax filings.
  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Assist the Accountant in preparing for audits by maintaining comprehensive records.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and accounting standards.
  • Perform administrative duties related to finance, such as filing and document organization.
