At Hospitality Recruitment placement Service (HRPS), we are seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator to join our team.

Job Overview:

The Operations Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our local restaurant, ensuring that guests receive a high-quality dining experience. This includes managing the selection, development, and performance management of employees, as well as overseeing inventory and ordering of food and supplies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards and company policies.
  • Responsible for ensuring consistent high-quality food preparation and service.
  • Maintain professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards.
  • Estimate food and beverage costs and work with Corporate office staff for efficient provisioning and purchasing of supplies.
  • Supervise portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste.
  • Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents.

Requirements:

  • N.D in hotel/restaurant management is desirable.
  • A combination of practical knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel) is required.
  • Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports.
  • Self-discipline, initiative, leadership ability, and outgoing personality are essential.
  • Pleasant, polite manner and a neat and clean appearance are required.
  • Ability to motivate employees to work as a team to ensure that food and service meet appropriate standards.
