Main Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to staff, addressing and resolving IT-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in setting up and configuring new user accounts, workstations, and IT equipment to ensure seamless integration with our existing systems.
  • Conduct regular system audits and backups to guarantee data integrity and security, adhering to industry best practices and standards.
  • Help install, configure, and maintain IT hardware and software to optimize performance and minimize downtime.
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Assist in monitoring and managing network devices and performing regular network maintenance to prevent potential issues.
  • Educate users on best practices for handling ICT tools and maintaining data security, promoting a culture of awareness and responsibility.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT processes, procedures, and issues to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Work closely with the IT Administrator to support various IT projects and initiatives, leveraging expertise and resources to achieve shared goals.
RequirementsQualifications
  • An Associate degree in Information Technology, ND in Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a technical support role or similar position, demonstrating a track record of success and growth.
  • A basic understanding of IT systems, networks, and computer hardware/software, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on quality and precision.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • The ability to work well in a team and follow instructions, with a commitment to collaboration and mutual support.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with domain environments and common business applications, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Basic knowledge of network security and administration, with a focus on preventing threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Fundamentals), demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
