Job Title: Transaction Manager

We are seeking an experienced Cashier to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently in our Victoria Island office.

About the Role

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in customer-facing roles and has excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cash transactions, resolving customer complaints, and maintaining clean and tidy checkout areas.

Responsibilities
  • Manage cash transactions using electronic equipment like cash registers and POS systems.
  • Collect payments in cash or credit, issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets as needed.
  • Cross-sell products and introduce new ones to customers.
  • Resolve customer complaints, provide guidance, and offer relevant information.
  • Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas at all times.
Requirements
  • O.N.D in Accounting or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Retail Cashier or in a similar sales role.
  • Familiarity with electronic equipment, including cash registers and POS systems.
  • Strong math skills and good communication skills.
Working Conditions

The job requires working night shifts, so the candidate must be able to work independently and manage their time effectively. We prefer candidates who reside within Ikoyi, Lekki, Obalende, Victoria Island, or Ajah.

Estimated Salary

51k-70k per annum.
