Role Summary:

The Senior Geologist role is responsible for managing geological projects from start to finish. This includes leading geological teams, conducting site assessments, and developing and implementing QA/QC procedures for geological and geotechnical projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leading geological teams and interpreting complex data
  • Conducting site assessments and analysing soil, rock, and construction materials
  • Developing and implementing QA/QC procedures for geological and geotechnical projects
  • Providing technical expertise in geological risk assessment
  • Preparing detailed reports and recommendations

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering and QA/QC
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and testing methods
  • Proficiency in geotechnical software and reporting tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
