In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.

Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to oversee daily financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and assist in financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have bookkeeping experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software. In addition to managing financial transactions, you will also be responsible for preparing financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Furthermore, you will collaborate with our team to optimize financial operations and ensure compliance with Canadian tax regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Record and manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
  • Maintain accurate financial records with confidentiality and precision.
  • Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
  • Implement and maintain effective bookkeeping procedures.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accountant, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and or other accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not required).
